What Our Store Is All About

A lot of times people ask us, “So what exactly DO you do?” The whole concept our store is that you can have a nice home no matter what your income is. Just because you don’t have tons of money doesn’t mean that you have to live with those avocado green countertops or those circa 1980’s kitchen cabinets. You can have the style of home that you are looking for at the right price, it just takes some know how, some rolling up your sleeves and some looking at items in a whole different way to achieve that and that’s where we come in. Anchor and Co started not as some life long dream to open an antiques store but because a historical loving wife wanted her home to look exactly a certain way and wouldn’t take no for an answer and a sort of handy husband who kept reminding said wife about their less than $0 bank account came together, pushed and challenged each other to achieve their home dreams and taught themselves how to do so with the little resources they had. We were able to get the things that we desired by looking outside of the box and that’s what we long to do for you. That’s how Anchor and Co was born.

At Anchor and Co we work hard to find the best finds during our frequent picking outings and at the best prices so that we can sell them very affordably to you! We also sell things like paints and painting supplies, hardware, etc so that you can get hands on with your DIY projects helping to keep your renovation and project costs down. Don’t know how to paint? No worries, we teach classes on how to paint your furniture and many other classes as well like power tools 101 and our Pinterest Series with Laura K.   We also sell handcrafted items that we make such as signs, furniture, artwork but we also sell handcrafted items made by many local artisans!
